Articles to Inspire

Listen to the Word; inspired by Truth

Welcome to our Articles page! We understand that there are times where people cannot/will not be able to attend a church service. We also know that people are more apt to read a brief article on religion/religious life than to sit and listen to someone preach. Whatever the reason might be, I chose to write various articles to reach those who might not have a church home. I have been blessed to write for the Herald Republican; Angola’s local paper, for several years.

It is my hope that you might be blessed, encouraged, moved, and uplifted by these articles. As I write these, I understand that there may be differences in beliefs; however, these are not to do nothing else except to hopefully draw you closer to God and strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ. I welcome feedback, both positive and negative.

Thank you for coming to this page and may God Bless you!

Christian Anarchy

In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes. Judges 21:25; ESV Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been...

The Power of Truth

“And don’t say anything you don’t mean. This counsel is embedded deep in our traditions. You only make things worse when you lay down a smoke screen of pious talk, saying, ‘I’ll pray for you,’ and never doing it, or saying, ‘God be with you,’ and not meaning...
